Frank S. Land Lodge No. 313

It Only Takes a Spark to Get a Fire Going

Constituted by the Most Worshipful Grand Lodge Free & Accepted Masons of Washington on November 15, 1997, Frank S Land Lodge No. 313 was the brainchild of three men interested in carrying their DeMolay experiences into their adult life. After several meetings they decided the best way to achieve this goal was through an affiliation with the Masonic fraternity. They decided to form a new lodge dedicated to family, fun, and brotherhood. From this idea has sprouted many new and renewed friendships & associations. And from these friendships & associations, a rather unique Masonic journey.

In the short time that FSL has been in existence, the brethren have created an annual Super Bowl Party, held family camping trips & picnics, played laser tag & paintball, gone bowling, and even brewed beer. But lest you think it's all fun and games, FSL also sponsors the annual DeMolay Chevalier Observance, holds well-received degree work on a frequent basis, and is a solid supporter of Masonic youth.

FSL has also found different ways to raise operating funds. First through working at the University of Washington with the Rainbow Girls and Job's Daughters, and second through the creation of the Frank S Land Investment Partnership.

As we head into the future as a duly constituted Lodge, the focus will be on building upon what we have already created and refining that which needs it. Stay tuned, the best is yet to come.
